The Hotel Loraine was originally constructed as a luxury hotel in 1924. More recently the city of Madison designated The Loraine as a national historic landmark due to its history, location, and architectural significance. The Loraine has been renovated for modern times, but take one look at the Grand Lobby and you'll see the hotel's original architecture and character have been wonderfully restored.
